..Repair the damage.

Sooo i went to get Revlon Colourstay foundation at Superdrug and got distracted and ended up getting Loreal True Match for some reason. What a bad idea that was.
I really feel this foundation is one of the worst i've tried for my skin. I have spent a fortune on foundations over the years and this was also a waste of money.

It was greasy on my skin and even after powder (i use MAC MSF natural) it wasn't the matte or even semi-matte finish i like. My skin is a combination type.
Whats worse I really feel it must have been this thats gave me a majour breakout all over my face - forehead/slightly on my chin/and my cheeks *Where i never ever get spots!:(*.
It gave me little coverage which wasn't great especially as it gave me spots then never even covered them!

The only positive is that it was a good colour match. The shade i used was C7 Amber rose (or something liked that). I usually like Loreal but im quite dissapointed in this.

At the time, from hearing QUITE good things about it I wanted to try this foundation.. so it must be good for some people!?

Anyways I have just tried the Asprin Mask about 20 mins ago, to try and sort out my skin which at the moment has left my skin feeling really clean and soft. BUT i'll see how my skin looks in the morning and see if that lives up to its great reputation. :)

Fingers crossed

Breathe.. rant over :)
I have now switched to Revlon colourstay which i really really love. It is slightly sticky but i think this consistency helps it to stay in place all day and gives it its great coverage. Hooray. (I have the Combination version in 350 Rich tan)

What does everyone think of these 2 foundations?

Photo Tag *Sorry its soooo late*

Okay so aaaaaages ago on the 30th of july *sorry for my only posting this now! but i didnt see the tag!* i was tagged by http://bargain-beauty.blogspot.com/ to do a photo tag by choosing the 10th photo in my album and this is the photo.
So this is me at my prom a year and a half ago maybe? It's weird to see how much ive changed in that time though.
It was such a good night with all my friends. Here i am in the limo and yes the lambrini in the background is mine.. being the classy girl i am.
My dress was from Coast and was £130, i bought two because i couldnt decide between this and another one but settled on this and sent the other back.
My shoes where a bargain at £30 though :)
I left getting my dress until the week before! Typical.
But anyways i loveddddddd prom as it was such a relief to have done my GCSE's.

Back to reality

I'm now back from my holiday in Puerto Rico which was very good, and very hot! I now look like a oompa loompa. hah. Back to reality with rain rain rain!
And i'm back to blogging etc :)

Revlon colourstay. This is next on my wishlist and i hope to get it tomorow. :) Most foundations ive tried despite their price seem to 'wear' off relativley quickly. So after reading lots of great reviews of this I will try it. I was going to buy Chanel Mat Lumiere but im going to get this first and see how i like it, as its easier to get tomorow when i'm in town. I'll get the one for oily skin. Fingers crossed i like it and i'll give my opinion on it soon.

TESCO!?! What are you doing?
I went into my local tesco supermarket around 2 weeks ago and i noticed the Barbara daly stand had been replaced by a Rimmel London one! This was so dissapointing as I really liked the barbara daly concealer. (Although at the moment i'm really tanned so the darkest would be to light but medium is perfect in winter). I can't seem to find it on their website either, so i will now have to buy MAC's studio finish instead.

Soooo
I bought Clinique dramatically different moisturizing lotion and i'm not sure how i feel about it?
It as an airport purchase and everyone knows you don't really think about what your buying. You just get wrapped up in spending money before your flight. So anyays, it didnt come with a pump ;/ *sighs* plus my skin isn't great as it is oily in my T-zone as ive probably mentioned before yet dry on my cheeks and neck so i wanted something that would be light enough to not cause excess oil and therefore make my T-zone oilier but still moisturise the rest of my skin. As its a lotion rather than a cream its lighter which i do like for the daytime, however it says that it is for 'dry to very dry' skin which i certainly dont think is the case. I would say its more normal-dry. As of yet, i haven't noticed my skin softer or my t-zone oiler. So worth the money? Hm.. not from what i notice yet? Whats the hype?

Ponds Cold Cream Cleanser & Body Shop Products.

Body Shop. Strawberry Shower Gel.
I love this, just because of the smell!! Its very nice and I will certainly repurchase. I have used shower gels from the body shop before but never used the strawberry one which is strange as its usually the first type i'd try? Its just a generic shower gel but its lovely anyways. This is kind of a shit analysis but I just want to get on and talk about the next product that I love!
Body shop. Strawberry Body Polish
I have eczema and sensitive skin so I'm carefull about the products I use, however this did not irrtate my skin at all. It is a very mild exfoliater for the body that again, has the lovely strawberry scent. Because it is such a gentle exfoliater (compared to others ive tried!) it is not drying at all. Anddddd... I noticed my skin was kind of had a slight glitter on it. I usually dont like glittery things as they look OTT but it was really nice. I dont think it says it includes this however I have defo noticed it? I'm not sure if it was from the shower gel or this, but I am quite sure its the body polish. Anyways.. I will be bringing this away with me. :)

Ponds cold cream cleanser
I have been using makeup removing wipes for years to take off my make-up but I feel that they can be quite drying sometimes so I tired this! So.. yes, it is a cream that has been around for years and years but i've only just recently tried it after reading many positive reviews on makeup alley etc. It is lovely. I would recommend to people with dry/normal skin, but not oily skin. I basically apply a layer on to my face when i have my make-up on, rub it in, wait for 2 minutes and then wipe it off with a hot wet flannel. Some people from various websites have said they use tissues to wipe it off but I find it can leave your skin a bit greasy, however when I used a wet flannel it just left my skin moisturised. Usually before i apply a moisturiser my skin feels a bit 'tight' however after using this product it felt really soft (and i usually have a really really dry patch on my neck but it seems a lot better now.)
This is just my experience and obviously some people will hate it, but i really like it. I got some in my eyes as its quite fussy to take off eye make-up with this BUT it didnt sting at all so thats good?! I sometimes still use a wipe to take off my eye make-up however Ive stuck to this product for my face and neck as I like it. It costs around £3/4 so is really inexpensive, however I dont like the packaging. It looks old fashioned and you have to sitck you fingers in the pot to get some out which I dont like..

Tanning & Escada.

This is the Velvotan Tan applicator. It is basically a mit that you put your hand inside, it's foam on one side and a material on the other. I think it's great for applying instant fake tan. I use Rimmel Sun Shimmer in the matt version when I want an instant glow when im going out. When i first used the rimmel product i really hated it because it left my hands orange which wouldnt wash off for ages and it wouldnt go on 'right'. But after buying this from superdrug my hands have stayed a normal colour and it goes on a lot smoother. Its definitely a worth while purchase if you have this tango hand problem! It says to wash it after every use which I do. :)

(LEFT)
The new Escada perfume. First of all, i love ALL of the Escadas perfume because they all basically smell the same with a slight variation. This one is called Ocean Lounge. I would understand why people may not like it, but i love the very sweet sort of 'sticky' smell. I have had it on most days since I got it last week. It lasts for quite a long time too.

(MIDDLE RIGHT)
St Moriz and St Tropez.

So I purchased both St Moriz and St Tropez recently. I have been meaning to buy the St Moriz for ages but kept forgetting which was really annoying. I got mine from Home Bargians where they had lots in stock and it was £2.99. It is a self tanning mouse that is tinted so you can see where you are applying it, and i love it. It isn't streaky, patchy or hard to apply! I didnt use gloves or anything as I dont think that gives the best application/results so i just washed my hands straight after. However it does have a kind of musky typical fake tan scent the morning after but after a shower its fine. The scent isn't something I would say is awful though.

I got the St Tropez lotion instead of the mouse because I wanted to see which i prefer out of the two consistencys. (I usually use a tanning gel, or spray) I also like the St Tropez as it doesnt smell bad at all, it is also tinted and it glides onto the skin. I didn't notice any patches with this, but it does give a lighter than the St Moriz.

Overall, i actually prefer the St Moriz and reach for it more often, as its a deeper tan so I only need to apply it once or twice and is £2.99! Although I do like high end, more expensive products like most girls.. :( which isnt too good for the purse. I think i will try the St Tropez mouse next to see how it compares as I have found out i really do prefer mouse to lotion.

Im back!

Hi everyone! x
I had a great birthday weekend and i'm back to reviews, hauls etc. :) Sooo lets get going
Here are some things I have just purchased (clothing only). I have some other things I got such as another 2 dresses, shoes etc. But i havent had time to find them and take photos.

This set is a neclace and bracelet set from a local boutique called Strange Fruit. It is jade green stones with a cream heart on both. The neclace ties with a pale green ribbon. I love it :) and wear it with a plain white vest top or grey dress etc. Im not sure of the price.

So these were just some shorts i bought for my holidays. I am going to Puerto Rico in less than 3 weeks :) So these are just for wearing to go to the beach etc. I got a white and pink pair. They wouldnt photograph very well. ;/ But they are from newlook.

This is a cute dress I purchased from Topshop at £22. The photo doesnt do it justice but its nice. I am wearing a black vest top underneath as it is quite low. It is tight yet not too short. It has a black pannel with flowers down either side.

I have seen this vest/dress sold everywhere! Motel, Newlook, Various boutiques etc etc etc. I got mine from £12 from Newlook. I had seen it on the internet at a different store and i was going to get it however when i seen this for £12 I ran to the changing room with it! Haha. I wear it with leggings. It is striped with large roses.

I realise this dress is very short and i would wear it with leggings but i couldnt find them to photograph it. I got it today from Topshop and it was £20 which i thought was very good. It is VERY tight on me but the next size up was too big and i liked it sooo.. :) It is a sort of weird material that clings to everything. Dont i look like the top poser? Haha. I had to be quick.. i was in a rush!

Sorry the image is so small. But it's a cute belly bar i got. Its a small bow that has pink diamonds in it. Its the perfect size as it doesnt hang below my actuall belly button if that makes sense? It was £5.50 from claires. I only buy cheap belly bars as I always without fail, loose them.

These are 2 pairs of sunglasses i got. One (Left on the bottom photo) are an aviator style and the other (Right on the bottom photo) are oversized sunglasses.

- The aviators are dark brown with a thin gold trim. The true colour is in the 2nd photo where they look darker not the 3rd as they are darker than that. It is jsut the lighting. They were £10 from Dorothy Perkins and came with a really cute lepoard print pouch.

- The oversized glasses are from Matalan. They were really cheap at something like £5/6. They are oversized yet small enough so that they dont over take my face :) They actually keep out a lot of light too which cheap sunglasses usually dont

Much love.
